Message: I met the Owner and talked to him a bit. Sounds like he has followed in his father's footsteps in the gas and service business. He was super freindly, volunteered to grab me the key to the restroom and told me a bit about the history of the building. I was going to buy a candybar or get a redbull in payment for using the restroom, but it's not like a truckstop.. just gas and repairs. So I ended up having the guy pump my gas and clean my glass.. just like in the old days. I loved it. The architecture and history of the place was awesome, the service was excellent and even though I live 2000 miles away, I hope to get back there sometime.
